Bob Worgaftik was a co-founder of MW Financial Group, Ltd. in 1983, before the agency merged with Certified Financial Services in 2019. He also co-founded Total Pension Services, Inc., MW Group Benefits, Inc. and MW Long Term Care Solutions, Inc. His areas of specialization include investment planning and portfolio construction, estate planning, tax planning, retirement planning, business continuity planning, and executive benefits design.

Bob was elected to the Connecticut State Ethics Advisory Board under Governor M. Jodi Rell. His years of experience and extensive background in the financial planning arena, made him a perfect choice for that unique challenge.

Bob attained the 'Five Star' Wealth Manager award for three consecutive years since 2010. This distinction recognizes an elite group, representing less than 2% of the wealth managers in the state of Connecticut. He is a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), HAIFA (Hartford Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), International Board of Certified Financial Planners, Connecticut Society of Certified Financial Planners, Elected Committee Member of State of Connecticut Task Force for Regulation Financial Planners, Society of CLU and ChFC, General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA), Gold Award Institute of Certified Financial Planners, and Chamber of Commerce.

His participation in several civic activities include coaching Avon soccer and basketball teams, member of the Teams Committee for Country Club of Avon, lecturer for Down Syndrome Congress, guest speaker for numerous associations on retirement and tax planning, past member of Finance Board for Beth El Temple, and Commissioner for State of Connecticut Citizens Ethics Advisory Board.

Bob's educational background includes a B.A., Finance/ Marketing from Central Connecticut University; CLTC, The Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification, Inc.; CLU, The American College; ChFC, The American College and CFP, College for Financial Planning.
